Purchase BGL Products - Subscription Agreement
Subscriptions to BGL
Products are subject to this Software Subscription Agreement.

If you do not agree with the terms and conditions of this Software Subscription
Agreement, do not install the software and return the entire package to
BGL within 30 days of subscription for a full refund.
Software
The Software covered by this agreement is Corporate Affairs System, CASLite Plus, CASLite, Simple Fund, Simple Invest and Simple Ledger.
Use
BGL Corporate Solutions Pty Ltd (BGL) grants you (an entity or a person) a non exclusive, non transferable right to use the software contained in this package for the period of the subscription at one location. Access to the software from another location through the use of a wide area network or installing the software on more than one computer at a location (unless that location has a multi user subscription) is not permitted. Where a location has a multi user subscription, use of the software is limited to the maximum number of users, companies or funds included in the subscription. The software may be installed on a network file server with access available to multiple workstations.
Issue of Right to Use
BGL warrants to you that it is duly authorised by the Owner(s) of the Software to grant you the right to use the Software referred to hereinn
Support
Services
During the term of the subscription, BGL will provide the subscriber the following support services (as outlined in the BGL Client Protocol):

Access to the extensive online documentation including Help screens, training manuals and White Papers available in each BGL product. |
Email and Newsletter
|
|
Regular update email from BGL and BGL's Monthly Newsletter. |
Internet Site
|
|
Access to the resources provided by BGL's Internet Site including Frequently Asked Questions and links to Internet resources. |
Update
Service
|
|
Access to unlimited downloads from our Internet site for software and documentation updates. Clients will also receive one product update CD ROM each calendar year. |
Live Support
|
|
CAS, Simple Fund, Simple Invest and Simple Ledger Professional Editionclients receive unlimited live support for the duration of the subscription period.
Simple Fund Trustee, Simple Invest Investors and Simple Ledger Small Business Editionclients receive five live support events per subscription. Live support events can be logged by telephone, fax or via the BGL Client Centre. |
Training
BGL agrees to provide you with access to product hands onand updatetraining courses. The fees for training courses are not included in your subscription.
Supply
BGL agrees to provide you with the software on CD ROM or any other such media or method it may deem appropriate from time to time.
Delivery
BGL will deliver software electronically and by express post or courier. BGL is not liable for any loss, damage or delay arising from late or non delivery of the software. Further, BGL is not responsible for any government charges including import duties or taxes applied to the software.
Upgrades
BGL reserves the right to issue upgrades and enhancements to the Software at any time. All efforts will be made to ensure the issue of updated software will not affect you.
Errors and Omissions
BGL or the Owner(s) of the Software shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions in the Software and shall not be held liable for any loss either consequential, direct or indirect incurred by you as a result of the use of the Software.
Copyright
You acknowledge that any and all trade marks, trade names, copyrights, patents and other intellectual property rights used or embodied in or in connection with the Software shall remain the sole property of BGL or the Owner(s).
Reproduction
You warrant to BGL that neither you or your employees will copy, reproduce (except for archival purposes), sell, assign, translate, adapt, vary or modify the Software or otherwise disclose or make available the Software or any part thereof to any third person otherwise than as provided herein without the prior written consent of BGL.
Guarantee
The BGL software subscriptions come with a 30 day money back guarantee. You must notify BGL within 30 days of purchase to be entitled to a full refund.
Payment
Your subscription commences upon full payment of the Initial Subscription or your Annual Subscription fee. BGL does not provide services or software (including software upgrades) until payment has been received. Payment methods include cheque, Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or Direct Transfer.
Privacy
BGL will collect information from you. BGL will handle your personal information in accordance with relevant laws. The BGL Privacy Policy is available to all subscribers on our Internet
Site (PDF).
Breach of this Agreement
Any breach by you of the terms and conditions of this agreement shall mean that your right to use the Software is immediately revoked.
